Upgrade Marine was established in 2010 by Brian Perrin. The idea was to offer quality certified marine installations and marine services in San Diego while “upgrading” older electronics and electrical systems with new technology. Marine electronics, LED lighting, instrumentation, solar panels and numerous other marine systems technologies have taken off in the last several years and will continue to do so. We are keeping up with the rapid changes and “keeping boats in tune with technology.”

Upgrade Marine is being managed by and under the supervision of company founder Brian Perrin. Brian has worked on boats for more than 2 decades and has logged over 45,000 miles at sea on both power and sailing vessels including 2 Transpacific Races.
Under Brian’s expert eye, Upgrade Marine is focused on providing certified electronics and marine systems installation and integration along with yacht service and maintenance packages. Everything is done with complete honesty and integrity always providing top quality workmanship. If anything goes wrong due to improper installation, we will repair with no questions asked!
